The Sadovye Kvartaly (Garden Quarters) project is one of 5 quarters of a new residential complex in one of Moscow’s most prestigious central districts. The complex consists of three residential buildings connected by a common stylobate.
Taking into account numerous restrictions of the site, the complicated configuration of the development allows the most efficient use of the terrain , and, in addition, separates the flow of visitors and residents. Also, a lot of space is available in the stylobate for public facilities and commercial functions. Its first-floor height and abundant glazing make the interior of the complex visually open to the streets.
Similarly to other parts of the Garden Quarters, in the 5th quarter the parking is underground. As a result, all courtyards in the complex are completely free from cars, pedestrian-friendly and safe. Public spaces and landscaping organised on several levels of the roof compensate for the small size of the project’s site.
