The Jewish Community Center is a project aimed to rehabilitate and extend the old building of the historically significant Majori synagogue.
As minimalistic as the building exterior, the interior of a new synagogue is lined with wooden wall panels, giving it a warm, light, and intimate feel. The feeling is further enhanced by round angles and arched portals across the building. In addition to the arched portals and niches, the original design and character of the historical building are also reflected in the symmetrical composition of some of its interior spaces.
