Luzhnetskaya Embankment
  • Moscow
  • , 2017

The new residential district is located on the banks of the Moscow River, on one of the city’s most important embankments. The master plan for the area consists of 3 parts:

The embankment is the front facade of the project. As part of the walking routes along the river, this area is becoming a new attraction in the city (with restaurants, cafes and shops are located here) and envisions the development of a linear city park.

The business part is a spacious city square in front of the business centre. It is located one floor below the ground level, allowing to create an increased retail frontage as well as a quiet, cosy place for a vibrant city life. A wide amphitheatre staircase and a statue of Lenin, which once stood on the territory, will emphasise the square.

The central part is residential and is the quietest area centred around a pine forest with swings, petanque playgrounds, ping-pong tables and a summer cinema. In the south, the park flows into a beach area with a terrace and sun loungers, as well as a sports ground, changing rooms, and a running track.
