The new Rigas Filharmonija building will be a new landmark and an attraction for audiences and musicians from all over the world.

The transformation of the public square aims to revitalise it as a living urban space, integrating it into the currently disconnected recreational transit route of the historic centre of Riga.

The innovative way of preserving history and activating space transforms a monotonous transit area into an environment that will become a lively meeting place.

Each zone within the park has a unique open-use program, encouraging visitors to engage in various activities, from gathering information to physical exercise

The sculptural facade and elevated square will introduce a natural relief that is currently lacking in Riga, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

The facade solution – the use of dolomite and recycled materials from the original building – will ensure both the continuity of the visual images, the preservation of valuable elements, and the eco-friendliness and efficiency of the new construction.
