The Tribeca Apartments is a residential complex located on the site of former industrial buildings. It converted existing spaces into apartments with public functions on the first floor, underground parking, and a landscaped area with kids’ play areas, artificial ponds, fountains, and art objects.

The complex resembles New York skyscrapers in design, but remains modern, bright, and even ironic at the same time. The facades of the complex are different and form 2 faces: the external facade is retro-inspired, while the internal one is calmer and features dynamic windows and veneer elements.

The height of the floors of the existing industrial buildings made it possible to organise mezzanine rooms on the first floors, and new ceilings on higher floors. Thus, the area of the buildings is doubled. The project also involves the addition of an additional floor on all buildings and the installation of an exploited roof.

The height of the first floors of the existing industrial buildings allows for the creation of mezzanine rooms. Higher floors could be splitted by new ceilings as well providing the opportunity to double the buildings’ area. The project also includes the construction of an additional floor on all buildings and installation of an exploited roof.
